NEW HAVEN POLICE ARREST TWO ON NARCOTICS CHARGES ON THE GREEN

(8/15/2008) NEW HAVEN- On Wednesday evening, members of the State Narcotics Task Force (South Central) and the FBI Safe Streets Task Force in conjunction with New Haven Police, arrested two individuals and made a sizable narcotics seizure. Arrested were 30-year-old Jaheim Martin and 24-year-old Princess Archie, both of 19 Stevens Street. Martin and Archie were charged with Conspiracy/Possession of Narcotics with Intent to Sell, Conspiracy/Sale of Narcotics and Possession/Sale within 1500 feet of a school on the New Haven Green. Seized from the subjects were 164 pills, $200 in cash, 6 cell phones, and 2 prescriptions. The subjects were taken into custody and held on bond pending arraignment in court.
